I will be camping out Nov 14-17 2009 for Steve Irwin Day I hope to raise alot of money for the Wildlife Warriors. Please help me by making a $2 tax deductible donation to help me meet my goal and wildlife and conservation and for Steve. I spent 13 days up at the zoo and learned heaps. I saw first hand what goes on at the Australian Wildlife Animal Hospital. It can be very sad but on the other hand it was very rewarding seeing the animals they were able to save. The dedication and comment Everyone at the Zoo and the hospital have is amazing. They really need funds for so many things.Not for just at the Zoo but for all wildlife and conservation around the world,the work is never ending.

The human race can help it's self but the Animals and the Earth have no way of doing this. The greed of mankind is taking it all away. Please help the endangered animals of the world and the sick animals please I am 12 and trying to make a difference.
Did you know..Australian Wildlife Hospital, treats up to 6000 wildlife patients each year.The cost to treat each patient varies and they rely heavily on the support of generous people just like you.
Here are some of the costs
$10 buys conjunctivitis drops for koala patients
$30 buys milk for kangaroo joey patients
$50 buys anaesthetic used in life saving surgeries
$100 buys enough food for a sea turtle for three days
$120 covers basic surgical treatment for one special patient
$500 repairs a broken limb and one week of rehabilitation

$10.00 does not buy much these days but every bit helps Conservation and Wildlife Money goes to Steve Irwin's Wildlife Warriors
$2.00 these days buys even less, but I can tell you that $2.00 can make a very big difference 4 Wildlife & Conservation

OUTCOME For Steve Irwin Day 2008

For Steve Irwin day 2008 I raised $2705.23 by door knocking (my mum was with me) in the community of Hoppers Crossing, Werribee and Point Cook and from online. I also camped out for two days we could not camp out for four days because it started to storm but it was still very fun.

We Took my nephew Connor with us twice he is a Wildlife Warrior in Training LOL he is 2 years old he would give people the thumbs up sign and say Crikey!
I explained to everyone where the money from Steve Irwin Day 2008 was going. To Non Lethal Whale Research. Most were glad as they want to see the end of whaling.
We wore khaki to when we were fundraising (what else would we wear) Steve Irwin Day 2008 was GREAT I can't wait for Steve Irwin Day 2009.
It was a lot of foot power and we got very tired BUT I will do it again. I just want to say Thank Mum for taking the time to help me. I love you.

My name is Suzie I am an 11 year old living in Melbourne, I
am writing to you today about Steve Irwin Day

The day will represent the many things Steve was passionate about:
FAMILY, WILDLIFE CONSERVATION and FUN.

Steve Irwin Day is also a day where people around the world join
together to raise money for Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors to help
continue Steve's conservation work and the preservation of wildlife
and wild places.

This year I am doing the Backyard Campout. I will be camping out for
four days. I am looking for sponsors in my quest to raise money for
Steve Irwin's Wildlife Warriors. .
Scientific research with out harming whales.YES it can be done. All money will be going to research for whales but without the slaughter of them. Australia is proving there is no need to kill whales to find out where they go and what they do. Please donate today to help save the whales from Slaughter. If Australia can prove that non lethal research can be done we can stop the Japanese from using the excuse that their whale killing is for Scientific research, and we will save the whales for future generations to see and not have them say. Daddy what's a whale, where did they come from, what did they look like,what did they do?????

My goal is to raise at least $2000.00 for the WLW. I am doing this
through online at the everyday hero site. So far I have raised
$351.83 online and $152.50 in off line donations.This is where I hope
you might be able to help. Donations of $2.00 or more are tax
deductible. The money goes towards conservation and wildlife. This
years Steve Irwin day money goes to NON lethal whale research.
